Respite
Temporary relief for families and caregivers of persons with developmental disabilities in Brooklyn. This program allows families to have time for errands, vacations, and other planned activities, enabling them to take a much-needed break from the demands of caregiving.

Home care
We provide home care services to help individuals with disabilities have the right support and assistance for them to stay independent and comfortable in their homes.

Early intervention
Elmys Special Services offers an Early Intervention Program to support eligible children aged 0 to three in meeting their developmental milestones and make progress in life skills.

Residential Placement
Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) are certified homes that provide room, board and individualized service options. The homes are licensed by OPWDD to provide housing and related services.

Community Habilitation
We provide an individualized Community Habilitation to assist individuals in developing or enhancing independent living skills needed to stay in their homes or the community.

Day Habilitation
We offer Day Habilitation services to provide people with an opportunity to connect with others in their community through social, volunteer, and work-related activities.

Family support services
Family Reimbursement compensates families to help pay for goods and services related to caring for a person with a disability.

Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Waiver
Providing support and services to assist persons with disabilities and seniors and help them back to integrated community living settings in their homes.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Program
Assisting individuals with a diagnosis of TBI or other degenerative diseases that require a nursing level of care to stay in their own homes independently.
